Frequently Asked Questions
-
I work with adults and perinatal women in Washington who face different mental health issues. I help with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADHD, psychosis, and more. If you’re unsure where to start, a psychiatric evaluation is a good first step. We’ll collaborate to find the right path.
-
Your first visit involves a full psychiatric evaluation. This appointment usually takes about 1 hour. It is helpful if you arrive 20 minutes early and complete self-check in before the appointment.
We can meet in my Lakewood office or by telehealth. We may need to meet in-person for our first appointment, such as if you are taking stimulant medications for ADHD or other controlled substance medications.
During our appointment we will review your history, talk through your symptoms, and create a clear plan for next steps. You will leave with a clear direction for care.

Yes, I accept private insurance. I am in network with most insurance plans, including Aetna, First Choice Health, Lifewise, Premera, Regence, TriWest, and United Healthcare.
I do not accept Medicaid (Apple Health) or Medicare.
I also accept cash-pay. Self-pay patients receive a discount when they make full payment at the time of service.
